Kyle and Jacob Franklin conquered the entire Star Wars RISK galaxy to capture the final event of the 2010 GameChamps season. They edged out Connie and Nathan Seelye in the final minutes of a battle for control of the board. In case you’re wondering, it was the “Dark Side” that won…
In the consolation round, Lorenzo Catalan beat Christian Martin and Christy Seelye in a close match, with each player competeing solo.

Connie Seelye is the GameChamps 5.0 Grand Champion! June 1, 2010

Congratulations go to Connie Seelye! By placing second in the Star Wars RISK Tournament, she earned enough points to take first place on the final competition of the year.
This was the closest GameChamps competition in the five year history of the events. Only 25 points separated her from the second place finisher Joey Brown. Joey was the 2009 champion.

Jedi Knights duel to the finish May 15, 2010

Eight competitors battled in the 21st GameChamps event of the year!
It was a toughly fought Star Wars Revenge of the Sith lightsabre double elimination tournament. Our top three were all dressed in traditional Jedi Knight uniforms of blue jeans and black tops. 
Conner Fritz (center) placed third, Jose Guzman (left) placed second, and Jacob Franklin (right) emerged victorious. Jacob always chooses General Grievous, by the way…
The GameChamps 5.0 Finale, the Star Wars Risk Tournament, will be held from 1 to 5PM on May 29. We will award prizes to the top finishers in the year. Joey Brown and Connie Seelye will be battling for the Points Race Championship! We hope you’ll join us for the battle for galactic domination.
